Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By booking a studio, you accept these terms and any house rules displayed in the studio listing.
You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself and any organization you represent.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you book applies to that booking.
2. Payments
Hourly rates are displayed before checkout. Taxes and add-ons are shown transparently.
- Base rate: the hourly booking amount shown at checkout.
- Add-ons: optional equipment, overtime, staffing, or cleaning services selected during booking.
- Security deposit (if applicable): may be pre-authorized and released after inspection.
- Overtime: billed in 30-minute increments unless otherwise stated in the listing or confirmation.
- Damage / extra cleaning: billed at cost plus a handling fee where permitted by law.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. If a payment is declined, your booking may be cancelled or suspended until payment is resolved.
3. Cancellations
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the booking. Within 48 hours, a fee may apply.
- 48+ hours: full refund of booking amount (excluding non-refundable processing fees where applicable).
- Less than 48 hours: cancellation fee up to 50% of the booking amount.
- No-show: may be charged up to 100% of the booking amount.
If you request to reschedule, we will try to accommodate based on availability. Rescheduling within 48 hours may be treated as a late cancellation unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
Refunds, when applicable, are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
If we must cancel due to studio unavailability or safety issues, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled booking.
4. Conduct
Respect quiet hours, building policies, and safety guidelines. No hazardous materials.
- Arrive and leave on time. Setup and teardown time count toward your booking unless explicitly included.
- No illegal activity. No weapons. No pyrotechnics. No smoke/fog machines unless expressly permitted.
- Keep exits clear and follow posted occupancy limits.
- Protect floors and walls; use sandbags and guards when needed.
- Respect neighbors: keep noise at reasonable levels and comply with quiet hours.
- Do not remove or tamper with safety devices, cameras, or building systems.
We may end a session immediately if your conduct puts people or property at risk. In such cases, refunds may not be provided.
5. Liability
You are responsible for damages caused by your crew or equipment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exposyde Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the studio.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Exposyde Studios from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your booking, your content, your equipment, or your breach of these Terms.
If you bring valuable equipment, you do so at your own risk. We recommend obtaining production insurance that covers equipment, liability, and crew.
